Real, life pictures from CR period
Real life pictures taken from the CR
period are a shortcut for one to perceive how people live their lives during
those hard days. In a couple new books published in mainland China, some
grown-ups have shared their teenage feelings and experiences during the 60's and
70's with the aids of their own life pictures. These illustrated books are
generally not available in oversea bookshops. In case you're interested, I
may try to help. For the time being, you may wish to take a look at my own
collection of such life pictures collected piece by piece during the past ten
odd years. Many of the children and youngsters in the pictures should be
at their 50's or 60's by now. I always dream to see them face to face and
listen to their life experiences.........
